My friends at Pierre Deux & I have been twittering today about cooking! In style classique français, they kindly introduced me to their sister site Le Cordon Bleu. While I was looking around, I also found FCL Style. This is where I fell madly in love with these beaux objets!
In backyards, bees are fearsome creatures! On this small scale, they seem endearing, delicate & harmless.
These boxes would add a sweet touch to a vanity table or powder room.
It’s as if they had chopped down a tree & fashioned this pot out of a log! The Rectangular Brussels Pot, though, is only inspired by nature.
Plant flowers or use it as a catch-all at home for an outdoorsy feel inside.
This log-inspired planter blends in with it’s environment so well that you’d almost think it was simply a hollowed out log. The petite size makes it perfect for herbs or small flowers.
Gather them together for a whimsical garden party. The perfectly simulated bark will fool your guests every time!
Merci !

These are lovely! We have a Pierre Deux here in Atlanta...why don't you come on down and we'll make a day of it!
Blessings...
I love Pierre Deux, Lisa. I hope you have a fantastic weekend!
I LOVE LOVE LOVE Pierre Deux and have an enamel box my daughter gave me years ago with other treasures from the store.
I do miss them as years ago they had a wonderful store in Scottsdale.
My San Diego girlfriend Judy's entire home is inspired by Pierre Deux! Love it!
I've always had a soft spot for Pierre Deux not to mention faux bois!!! This rustic touch always gives even the most formal of rooms a deep relaxing breath.
I adore your Jackie O story!!!!! Ironically your Uncle Charles was my Aunt Dorothea: she'll never leave Manhattan & the fun we had my mother does not know to this day. I never ran into Jackie but we did sit next to Frank Sinatra at the bar in The Carlyle!!!
These are soooo lovely. Thank you for the recommendation and thank you for adding me to your page. You have one of the most beautiful pages in blog land. I'm soooo honored.
Hi Lisa
The log-inspired planters are great. I too am anxiously awaiting the movie Julie & Julia. Joni has a great idea..let's all get together and see the movie together. What fun that would be.
Oh lovely! I remember once as a child on a family vacation we came across the most beautiful dragonfly that was on its last legs. My sister lovingly wrapped it up in tissue and took it home with us and kept it in a box for all to look at. If only we'd had one of those dragonfly boxes, it would have been quite appropriate!
