Welcome to The Lisa Porter Collection. A place for those who have an appreciation of family,
friends and a meaningful life.
It is my devotion to the casual,
elegant manners of my southern heritage that have led me to create this collection.
My friends find me at home in Lexington Kentucky, with my wonderful husband, two terrific teenagers, and our sweet black lab, Gracie. I hope you'll stop by often. If i'm not in my studio, then you'll find Gracie and I out in the garden.
What began almost two decades ago as a small personal collection of watercolors is today being celebrated as a modern look at contemporary America. My works are often described as clean, classic, and well detailed. You'll appreciate them for being simple, elegant, and comfortable. Lisa

Dear Ms. Lisa, What touched me this early morning were your priceless stories about family...I loved that your son received a cannon ball from the collector and it was received by good hands to be preserved for the next precious collector. I am the collector of my family. My 33 year old daughter is in the hospital battling for her her life...I couldn't sleep and I discovered your blog for the very first time.....the love for your family and the love I have for my only daughter, gave me hope this early morning hour.....
