Naturally Weathered

My old Kentucky home.
Home to the worlds finest burley, birthplace to premium burbon and thoroughbreds.
A place where men carry on about the soil, about farming, being married to the land and being buried in it.

Oh my gosh Linda...you are too funny! I wish! Maybe one of these days but with better insulation & plumbing!
This one is just a few miles up the road. It was 23 degrees and I about froze my fingers off taking these! xo

Lisa,
I am sorry you froze your fingers off taking these pictures, but they are beautiful! Wish we had snow, but it decided to pass central Alabama by.
I hope that your Christmas was a happy one, and Happy New Year!

Oh Lisa, what a beautiful look at winter in Kentucky! By the way, I have a great bourbon pound cake recipe by my late husband's great Aunt Ruth. Happy to share if you need one! Shiree'

That naturally weathered look is so beautiful, on the barn, the wood, the fence, the stone...how come I can't quite appreciate it on my face???

Lisa, I am loving your photography! Do you give lessons? I LOVE this barn, if that were near me I might have to learn to be a groom. Did you have some of that hot chocolate I promised you when you came in from the cold?
