Come On Let's Go for a Ride!
via Nick Dewar
My son tuned up my
beach cruiser last weekend.
He checked the tires & chain,
and his friend replaced my
handlebar covers. I'm good to go!
The best part of the tune-up...
hearing my son say,
"Go Mom!"
as I headed down the road.
GOSH!!!
ReplyDeleteI'm blown away!!!! Beautiful blog!! Loved my visit! It is very different, I like that!!

I Just Love This !!!!
ReplyDeleteThere is nothing to compare to getting out of the comfort zone of our house or car.....and getting on a bicycle and feeling the wind on our face.
Lisa, Thanks for the reminder....it's time I got on a bicycle again.
How sweet of him to do that for his Mom ~ gotta love moments like that. Enjoy your ride. It's going to be beautiful here today ~ perhaps I should do the same.

ReplyDeleteCreating a return to my youth, I love riding my beach cruiser while I am in Florida! Don't forget a bell to gently remind those strolling in front, that you will be passing. Lovely posting.
ReplyDeleteOooooh. Great story! Go Mom!!
ReplyDeleteWhat fun.....you go Mom!!
ReplyDeleteThat is so much fun! Go mom. . . I just added you to my blog roll by the way. Thanks for stopping by and for your lovely comment!
ReplyDeletePrecious! Miss Lisa I have not gone anywhere my sweet blog friend. Just much work and some personal no fun life challenges so I have not been good at posting. But life would be boring without that...right! :) I did a post today though. Just kind of tells where I am at, but all is good still. I hope you are doing well. Thank you for emailing me. Your emails and well visits to my blog are always welcome by you. I find myself on your blog too and just a soft and sweet place to be often too!
ReplyDeleteTalk soon,
kristin
So thrilled to have found your blog...a kindred spirit as we focus on the beauty of simplicity. Just saw your island redo and was SO excited since I have started doing mine. I have only turned the plug inside for the microwave and that was by default. Planning on adding beadboard next but was wondering if I could just add it to the sides without removing my white paneling. :)
