Plotting & Planning

By the time the ground begins to thaw, I have already spent hours plotting & planning for my favorite time of year.  Spring has finally arrived in the Bluegrass and I am ready!

The real workhorse of my garden is my potting bench. A place where I study my garden & my life.

Ask my family, they will tell you, this is my garden alter. A place to find balance.

  2. Beautiful pictures, Lisa! I am not ready yet, although I'm working on it. I have some baskets and decorative items all set to go. I've got the list in my head for plants {which I really should put to paper before I forget} and I'm eager to get going.

  6. Mmmmmmmmmm beautiful images Lisa,

Happy Gardening, I can just picture you in your garden. It's raining here today and quite dark and all the leaves are falling from the trees. It's quite nice to be indoors. I'm still a little dizzy, (no jokes o.k.) but getting better each day. Australian school holidays start this week Wednesday, where did the last term go????

    Talk soon,
    xxx Coty

  7. What a glorious gardener you are Lisa and truly a fun post. I love to garden but don't have the space that you do. I haven't quite taken to it here in Texas, just not the same as the West Coast. But, I with you as a 'sister of the soil'. I do love the therapy digging & nurturing provides. Good for the soul, just like friends.
    Happy gardening to you! xx

  8. Lisa I am very impressed. I used to have a green thumb and love to garden. Now in my condominium I plant for the deck and pots outside the front door!

Giveaway is up on my site.

  11. So lovely Lisa and your potting bench is spotless!! I miss my old garden a lot, especially in these exciting first weeks of the season. Here at the beach, we only have perennial lavender in the ground. The rest is in pots. Happy spring gardening to you and Gracie. PS... I could only spot my dachshund Billy in the garden from moving plants! He miss it too. ;) Barbara

  12. Lisa,
I can see I need some new supplies to garden. My mom was not a gardner and so I didn't learn the art while growing up. I love beautiful flowers and think I will put some energy into growing some this year!
    You inspire me.
    xoxo
