The view from my kitchen sink is a pretty one lately.
The five-foot tall $15 Bradford Pear Tree that I planted five years ago is beginning to blossom right in front of my eyes...on the second level!
The other two white Ornamental Pears along with the pink Ornamental Cherry trees out in the garden are almost in full bloom.
The sun was about to set so I grabbed my camera to catch the last bit of light.
Before I came in, the garden lights came on and I noticed that the beauty of these trees was not only up above.
It was also down below at my feet on the garden floor!
These delicate blossoms bursting from the rough bark on the trunk of the tree were what really caught my eye.
Oh, lucky you! We area bit cold here stil I have a bratford pear outside my dining room window and we wait and watch it's beautiful blooming every spring. Happy weekend. XO

ReplyDeleteI am jealous but only in the nicest way.....you have all kinds of beautiful things blooming while our poor plants and trees are terribly confused..with our 33 degree day and snow/rain. So enjoyed these gorgeous pictures...more than you know!

I don't think I'd be able to walk away from the window with such beauty to view. You are so lucky ... my view involves snow.
ReplyDeleteGet the spare bedroom ready, I'm coming for a visit :)
Have a great weekend ~

Beautiful. They are blooming like crazy round here, on my street. But I like that one coming out of the trunk, so much.

ReplyDeletestynning Lisa. What a breathtaking view..nature at its finest.
ReplyDeleteLisa,
ReplyDeleteI don't how I missed this post. I love the beauty that you see from your kitchen. We planted two Bradford Pear trees last year and we enjoyed their first blossoms for a couple of weeks. I look forward to the day when they stretch their arms outward! The next tree(s) I want is a Dogwood! When we lived in Alaska, there were dwarf dogwoods shrubs that grew wild. So beautiful!
