Good Morning

flickr
It's my quiet time. Once my feet hit the floor I love to wander outdoors.  Bare feet on grass cooled by the morning dew or rain is a great way to wake up the senses.
A sweatshirt pulled over pajamas, a steaming hot cup of coffee, a thick slice of toast with honey...
It's a great way to greet the day.
I hope you have the kind of morning that you love.

LIsa,

what a beautiful image - and a perfect way to begin one's day.

Hope you're having a great weekend . . .

What a wonderful way to start your day, Lisa! Too hot for sweatshirts here in Knoxville. However, next week this time we will be in Big Sky, mt where it has been in the low 40's in the morning. I can hardly wait!!

I love to begin mornings like that... usually I head out first thing in the morn to check on my garden and dead head the roses.
I've been away on vacation and just returned... I've missed you :)

Missed the Good Morning by one minute, but hoping your morning bliss is stretching into the early hours of the afternoon too as it sounds perfect. Coffee and 3 Toronto newspapers make for mine. Just finished. Much love XO
PS. Your daughter sounds like a gift wrapper soulmate!

Thanks for this post...it made me turn off my computer, pick up my coffee and go wander barefoot through my garden.

We could be related. I love to do this as well. The biggest treat is when I get up a few minutes early to treat myself to some quiet when school is still in session. It brings such a calm to my day.

Have a wonderful day ~
