Weekend Plans?

It's been a crazy week hasn't it?
Some of you are buried in snow & loving it!
Gina at Willow Decor
took a spill shoveling the snow off her roof
 causing an avalanche.
Then there's Megan who's Peacing Out at
Beach Bungalow 8
 in her new sandals!
I will still be in my woolies & mittens
by the fire,
longing to be in my wellies & gloves
in my garden.
I think artist John Gannam illustrates the weekend beautifully.
So what are you doing?
After A Day in The Snow
Around The Swimming Pool
Picnic At The New Homesite
Amateur Magician
Clambake At The Beach
Showing Off The Engagement Ring
My personal favorite...
Picnic On a California Beach
I'll be reading the Comics & your beautiful blogs,
enjoying America's Beverage Of Moderation & waiting for my polish to dry!

Whatever you do,
stay warm or stay cool,
but be sure to stay fun!
xo Lisa

More snow tonight and tomorrow. We will finally go see The Social Network and maybe cross-country ski on the beach! Yes, on the beach! Have a great weekend LPC + Gracie, too. oxo

In total contrast we are expecting 108F. tomorrow! All the shutters & curtains are drawn & its sizzling hot. Crazy MOTH has gone out to work in the heat today, beer will definitely be in demand here later this afternoon. Be careful not to smudge that polish Lisa.

Darling Lisa,
Everyone looks positively radiant and not the least bit tipsy. I love how everyone looks like they are enjoying life and one another's fine company. What inspiration...in a bottle.
I do love an ice cold one from time to time myself as long as we can raise our glass to good times and good health.
What an honor, your comment left today would be my privilege to post the home artwork.
best to you-

Love the vintage artwork - so charming! Makes look so effortless doesn't it? No sandals for me with the huge drifts. Already looking forward to Downton Abbey tomorrow night!

These are so great Lisa; as I was scrolling down, I was thinking about how we still love all of those moments...even if there is a iphone or BB in people's hands!

The picnic at the jobsite looks like a nice day...I'll order that one please!

Have a great weekend!!

Fabulous illustrations hosting fun times ~ we forget to relax and just enjoy these days. I would certainly love to enjoy a clambake this weekend but that will have to wait a few more months and many inches of melting snow.

Those are outstanding illustrations and it's nice to see people having fun without showing all of their 'wares' as they do today! I do like the last one the best too!

It's a beautiful day in Anguilla keeping things cool with 70+ sun lotion. A rooster is crowing and the sun just came up. Reading the new Steve Martin book, "Objects of Beauty" and glad to have sun and sand and not snow.
