A woman's hair has for centuries been called her "crowning glory."

Whether it's thick or thin, straight or curly, is getting gray, or insists on parting down the middle, our hair humbles us, and we need to make peace with it.

Ha, and as I read your words of wisdom (every one of them oh so true), I thought 'I need to print a copy of that style and take it to my hairstylist'. Ah, vanity.
ReplyDeleteYou almost make me miss my long hair with all these lovely long styles. Ahh........but life has gotten easier with my short do for now and I have tamed my maturing locks. As you said Lisa, it always grows back but if I was young, it would be long, long. XO
ReplyDeleteWow, have you been reading my mind?
ReplyDeleteI think that everyone wants a different head of hair, even those with almost perfect locks.
Great post, Lisa. I am send Angela over.

Got my hair chopped off last week...not intentionally, but went to a new person. I'm not one to cry about hair anymore, but it did make me wonder why this shorter, choppier, saddler hair makes me so uncomfortable.
ReplyDeleteGetting used to it now...and am feeling like the change was good for me. :)
Happy Mother's Day!
