Soundings Of The Sea

Maybe if I stretch

until my fingers

touch the sky.

   

    

 

 

              

Maybe if I let my toes

take little soundings

of the sea.

 

   

    

       

 

   

     

   

Maybe if I search

the pulse beneath the sand.
