I love all the red, white and blue! Those aren't my colors at all, but on July 4th, I get all patriotic and decked out!

You just wrapped up the beauty of the 4th of July's red/white & blue in the most perfect post. When I think of this time of year, I'd like to be on a vintage Chris Craft wooden boat, my kids all little and wearing salt water sandals; fried chicken and my mom's potato salad in the old plaid cooler, ready-set to enjoy the fireworks over the lake. The 4th should be something special. I hope you had all that is fun, crazy, and memorable Lisa. Thinking of you & the Porter family.
